Abstract
An electronic controller, for use in an automatic transmission control system, for controlling solenoid-actuated valves to control the flow of hydraulic fluid throughout the transmission thereby allowing gears and friction elements to cooperate in response to various input signals, allowing the entire system to be adaptive to changing load demands placed on the vehicle.
