Abstract
There is disclosed a thermal recording paper comprising a support having a roughness index, measured by the method of liquid absorption test on paper and board (Bristow's method) in Japan TAPPI paper pulp test method No. 51-87, of not more than 8 ml/m.sup.2, a thermal recording layer, and an intermediate layer formed therebetween.
