Abstract
Disclosed is a method for preparing noble-metal containing zeolite materials suitable for isomerization reactions. The catalysts are prepared by contacting an zeolite selected from the acidic faujasite, LZ-210 type zeolites and mordenite with an effective amount of a noble metal compound selected from Pt(acetylacetonate).sub.2 or Pd(acetylacetonate).sub.2 then calcining at a temperature from about 250.degree. C. to 600.degree. for an effective amount of time.
