Abstract

In the preparation of perfluoropolymers by the interpolymerization of tetrofluoroethylene, perfluro (alkyl vinyl) ether and cyano-cure site monomer, the improvement of incorporating iodo moieties by the reaction of iodo-compounds of the formula RI.sub.n, in which R is a hydrocarbon or halocarbon radical of 1 to 8 carbon atoms and n is 1 or 2.
