Abstract
There is disclosed a thermosensitive recording material comprising an ordinarily colorless or slightly colored dye precursor, an electron receptive compound (developer) coloring said dye precursor by reacting when heated, and a compound of following general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represents hydrogen atom, alkyl, alkenyl or aryl group, and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 may be different from each other; may also be linked together to form cycloalkyl, cycloether, and the like; and R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each represents hydrogen atom, alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxy or aryl group and halogen atom, and R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 may be different from each other.
