Abstract

A cooker includes a body having a heating compartment therein, and a door attached to the body to open and close the heating compartment. The door is locked in a closed position by a lock mechanism. When the door is to be opened, the lock mechanism is electromotively released by first release mechanism, or released by external mechanical force through a second release mechanism.
