Abstract
The present invention relates to a multiple-unit-dose comprising L-dopa as pharmaceutically active compound, whereby the composition provides a release of L-dopa in accordance with a test in accordance with U.S. Pharmacopeia Standards in an artificial gastric juice having a pH of at most 1.2 of at most 20% by weight during 1 hr, and in a phosphate buffer according to the same standard a release of at least 35% by weight during 1 hr, and at least 80% by weight during 3 hrs.
