Abstract

A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material having a support, provided thereon a silver halide emulsion layer, and a backing layer provided on a reverse side of said silver halide emulsion layer is disclosed. Said support is of white color polyester or comprises a layer containing a white pigment and provided on a side of the silver halide emulsion layer; and the transmittances of the support, the support plus the backing layer, and the silver halide photographic light-sensitive material in 450 nm, 550 nm and 700 nm satisfy the following equations;
