Abstract

A card, or a seal, with a picture includes a sheet with an image transferred to an image receiving layer coated on a transparent sheet in a heat-transferring manner, and a sheet-like base material to which the image receiving layer is to be attached with an adhesive layer. The card or the seal is made by a method which includes the steps of forming a mirror image of an original in the photosensitive layer of a photosensitive material superposing the sheet formed with the image on an image receiving layer of an image receiving sheet so as to superpose the photosensitive layer on and adhere the photosensitive layer to an image receiving layer of the image receiving sheet, and heat-developing and heat transferring the image in the photosensitive layer onto the image receiving layer. Then, photographic material is removed from the image receiving sheet, and the image receiving sheet is put on the sheet-like base material so as to superpose the image receiving layer on and adhere the image receiving layer to the sheet-like base material through an adhesive layer. Finally, the supporting sheet is removed from the image receiving sheet.
