Abstract
The present invention provides an enamel frit composition which comprises a component selected from the group consisting of SiO.sub.2, B.sub.2 O.sub.3, Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, CaO, MgO, Na.sub.2 O, K.sub.2 O, Li.sub.2 O, BaO, ZnO, TiO.sub.2 and ZrO.sub.2, and one or more lanthanoid elements of the atomic numbers of 58 to 60 and 62 to 71 and which enables direct coating without any ground coating.
