Abstract
Novel Vitamin D.sub.3 derivatives of the following formula ##STR1## wherein R represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group. These compounds have an activity of inducing differentiation of tumor cells, and are useful for anti-tumor agents. On the other hand, the compounds have almost no vitamin D activity.
