Abstract

Stabilized composition containing a polymer of vinyl chloride or the like and at least one primary stabilizer and, as the costabilizer, mercaptals or monothioacetals of thioglycolic acid esters of the formula ##STR1## The costabilizers contained in the compositions do not exhibit any unpleasant odor, yet improve the initial color and also the total stability of the molding compositions.
