Abstract
Compositions comprising a halogen-free polymer and, as flame retardant, at least one aluminum salt of a phosphonic acid of the formula: ##STR1## in which R is a straight or branched chain alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms optionally substituted by one or more of halogen atoms or hydroxyl groups and R' is hydrogen or an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms.
