Abstract
A purification method of carbon fluorides by removing non-bonding fluorine from carbon fluorides. The removing treatment is carried out by contacting gases with the non-bonding fluorine. Such gases are HCl, SO.sub.2, NO.sub.2, H.sub.2, steam and a mixed gas thereof.
