Abstract
The invention relates to a new process for preparing 6-amino-1,2-dihydro-1-hydroxy-2-imino-4-piperidinopyrimidine of the formula (I), ##STR1## which comprises reacting a pyrimidine derivative of the general formula (II), ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 stantds for hydrogen or a ##STR3## group, wherein R means a C.sub.1-6 alkyl group or an aryl group optionally substituted by halogen;
