Abstract
A two-step dimerization process for producing semi-linear C.sub.12 olefins using homogeneous dimerization catalysts and new C.sub.12 olefins mixtures. The C.sub.12 product is especially useful for the production of biodegradable sulfonated alkylaryl detergents and intermediates therefor.
