Abstract
An adaptive video format user-interface for use with a conventional video standards converter. A microcontroller interrogates a function switch matrix in the set-up mode and interfaces with the converter to effect video output changes by matching the two dimensional sampling aperture of the converter to the timing of the incoming video.
