Abstract
A pyrimidone compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof such as a 5,6-di-substituted-2-[4-<3-(1-piperidinomethyl)-phenoxyl>-cis-2-butenylami no]-4-(1H)-pyrimidone or a 5,6-di-substituted-2-[4-<4-(1-piperidinomethyl)-pyridyl-2-oxy>-cis-2-buten ylamino]-4-(1H)-pyrimidone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is herein disclosed. Such a compound or a salt thereof simultaneously shows gastric acid secretion inhibiting effect and gastric mucous membrane protecting effect and is useful as medicine for treating gastric diseases such as medicine for inhibiting gastric acid secretion or that for treating digestive ulcers.
