Abstract

An antiviral composition for adminisitration to a mammal, in particular, intranasally, for the treatment of the common cold by control of common rhinoviruses. The composition is an inclusion complex of a cyclodextrin, e.g. an .alpha.-, .beta.- or .gamma.-cyclodextrin or derivatives thereof and an antiviral agent.
