Abstract
A two-part bleach-fixing solution composition comprising of a first concentrate composition containing a reducing compound comprising a silver halide solvent and a preservative as main components; and a second concentrate composition having a pH of 1.5 or less, containing an oxidizing compound comprising a bleaching agent and an acid as main components. The invention also relates to a method for processing a silver halide color photographic material by the steps of: (a) developing an exposed silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing at least one coupler represented by formula (I) or (II); at least one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing at least one coupler represented by formula (III) or (IV); and at least one blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a yellow coupler represented by formula (V): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.4 each represents an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, a heterocyclic group, an aromatic amino group or a heterocyclic amino group; R.sub.5 represents an aliphatic group; R.sub.3 and R.sub.6 each represents hydrogen, a halogen atom, an aliphatic group, an aliphatic oxy group or an acylamino group; R.sub.7 and R.sub.9 each represents a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group; R.sub.8 represents hydrogen, an aliphatic acyl group, an aromatic acyl group, an aliphatic sulfonyl group or an aromatic sulfonyl group; R.sub.10 represents hydrogen or a substituent; Q represents a substituted or unsubstituted N-phenylcarbamoyl group; Za and Zb each represents unsubstituted methine, substituted methine or .dbd.N--; Y.sub.1, Y.sub.2 and Y.sub.4 each represents a halogen atom or a coupling releasable group; Y.sub.3 represents hydrogen or a coupling releasable group; and Y.sub.5 represents a coupling releasable group; and (b) bleach-fixing said developed silver halide color photographic material using a bleach-fixing solution prepared by diluting and combining the two-part bleach-fixing solution of the invention.
