Abstract
An allyl type amine is prepared by reacting an allyl type alcohol represented by the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 independently stand for a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group or alicyclic hydrocarbon having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, or an aromatic hydrocarbon group, with at least one member selected from the group consisting of ammonia, a primary amine and a secondary amine in the presence of a palladium compound and a multidentate phosphorus compound.
