Abstract
Coating of crystalline metals (Ag, Au, Cu, Al) are formed on amorphous melic alloys (glassy metals) by cathode magnetron sputtering. The process can be used to produce new products such as copper coated amorphous metallic alloy wires for torpedo controls, shielding materials for electromagnetic waves, and anticorrosion coatings for Fe-metalloid magnetostrictive elements.
