Abstract
Anhydrous ferric fluoride of 99.0% purity or greater, based upon F.sup.- analysis is afforded, as well as a process for its manufacture using anhydrous FeCl.sub.3 and liquid anhydrous HF, reacted in the substantial absence of O.sub.2, H.sub.2 O, or an oxidizing agent.
