Abstract
A pair of terminals are each provided with snap dentents for engaging the contact pins extending from the opposite ends of a baseless cartridge bulb. The terminals are mounted to a support and are spaced a distance D which is substantially exactly the same as the spacing between the contact pins at their points of intended engagement with the terminals. This minimizes the loading on the contact pins relative to their seals with the body of the cartridge bulb, and also provides the support for the bulb. The terminals are of a configuration which facilitates relative entry and removal of the bulb's contact pins, yet also releasably retains those pins in good conducting relation therewith.
