Abstract

An adhesive system having a pressure-sensitive adhesive matrix and dispersed therein particulate solids wherein the adhesive system has a light transmission within the range of 15 to 80 percent transmission, and preferably 25 to 75 percent transmission. The adhesive system may include a coating of untilled pressure sensitive material. The particulate solids preferably have a particle size no greater than 300 microns, and may be organic particulate solids, preferably certain polymeric compositions.
