Abstract

Disclosed is a process for the preparation of a perfluoro organic compound, which comprises fluorinating a partially fluorinated or unfluorinated organic compound having carbon-to-fluorine bonds under mild conditions and then, contacting the resulting reaction mixture with a fluorine gas at a temperature of 110.degree. to 180.degree. C.
