Abstract
A rotor for an internal mixer includes blades whose profile assures a suile stress of the rubber between the blade and the inside wall of a chamber. This profile includes a gradual convergent surface, a fine passage surface, a gradual divergent surface and then a zone of break in the continuity of the profile, called a setback, followed by a steeper divergent surface.
