Abstract
Spirobiindanol polydiorganosiloxane compounds are prepared by the reaction of an .alpha., .omega.-dichloropolydiorganosiloxane with a spirobiindane bisphenol in the presence of an acid acceptor. They are useful as intermediates in the preparation of copolysiloxanecarbonates.
