Abstract

The invention relates to a plated steel sheet for cans which must have a good outer appearance for printing and high image clarity, and is a method of forming dry-plated layer 2 on the surface of steel sheet 1 having a central surface roughness of 0.10 .mu.m or less, and a plated steel sheet for cans formed by the method.
