Abstract

The present invention relates to a film code read out device for a film cartridge having a code pattern such as ISO, film frame number information and so on. The film code read out device according to the present invention is arranged in such a manner that contact members to be in contact with the code pattern are brought into contact with the code pattern at a position deviating from the center of the code pattern in the state in which the film cartridge is loaded in a film cartridge chamber correctly.
