Abstract
A cutter module for a mailing machine having a support wall and base includes a cutter support member slideably mounted to one of the mailing machine support walls such that the cutter support member can be slideably displaced longitudinally traversed to a tape portion. The mailing machine includes tape eject mechanism for ejecting indicia printed tape portions. A rotary cutter blade is rotatively mounted to the cutter support member. A drive mechanism reciprocally displaces the cutter support member traverse to the tape portion. A cutter beam is provided coactive with the rotary cutter blade.
