Abstract

As a herbicide, a 9-phenylimino-8-thia-1,6-diazabicyclo [4.3.0]nonane-7-one derivative having the formula: ##STR1## wherein each of X and Y is hydrogen or halogen, and Z is ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1 is alkyl or cycloalkyl, or --COOR.sup.2 wherein R.sup.2 is alkyl.
