Abstract

Crystalline 1,1-dioxopenicillanoyloxymethyl 6-(D-.alpha.-amino-.alpha.-phenylacetamido)penicillanate napsylate. The product may be prepared by reacting 1,1-dioxopenicillanoyloxymethyl 6-(D-.alpha.-amino-.alpha.-phenylacetamido)penicillanate or a salt thereof with 2-naphthalenesulfonic acid or salt thereof.
