Abstract
There is provided a glass enamel system adaptable to be fired from about 1000.degree. F. to about 1350.degree. F., said glass enamel characterized, upon firing, by a formation therein of metal orthosilicate crystals, which has the effect of substantially hardening the surface of said glass enamel even at its fusion point temperature, and within the range aforesaid.
