Abstract

The invention relates to new cyanonhydrin iodopropargyl ethers of the formula ##STR1## in which R denotes C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 -alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.10 -alkenyl, C.sub.5-C.sub.8 -cycloalkyl or -cycloalkenyl, which can be optionally substituted by C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or halogen, a process for their preparation and their use as microbicides for the preservation of industrial materials.
