Abstract
A method of forming polymers containing .alpha.-methylstyrene and acrylonitrile by polymerizing, preferably continuously, under off-azeotrope conditions to vastly improve rate without substantially changing the content of .alpha.-methylstyrene in the polymer being formed from that obtained under azeotrope conditions.
