Abstract

A composition for percutaneous drug administration which contains a compound of the general formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group and R.sub.2 is a residue of aliphatic hydrocarbon. The composition is capable of promoting percutaneous drug absorption.
