Abstract
A mobile radiotelephone call synchronization method and apparatus for a radiotelephone system utilizing a credit card for payment of calls is disclosed. Call access is denied a mobile unit until the user runs his credit card through a card reader to input credit card information. After checking list having a valid and invalid I.D., and checking the expiration date stored at the mobile telephone, the information is communicated by the mobile unit to a registration computer for approval. If approval is granted, the mobile unit is enabled for the user to make one or more radiotelephone calls.
