Abstract
A translation system for translating a first language into a second language having at least one user's dictionary into which individual words in the first language desired and equivalent words in the second language can be registered according to user's necessity. This translation system provides means for designating a postpositional word functioning as an auxiliary to a main word such as a verb upon registering the main word in the user's dictionary.
