Abstract
This invention provides novel .alpha.-[2,2-di(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy)ethylamino]-.beta.-cyanostyrene and .alpha.-[2,2-di(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy)ethylamino]-.beta.-nitrostyrene compounds that are useful for the preparation of pesticidal arylpyrroles. The invention also provides a method for the preparation of the above-said .beta.-cyanostyrene and .beta.-nitrostyrene compounds.
