Abstract

A new method of treating a patient suffering from smooth muscle spasms involves treatment with a class of anti-spasmodic thioester compounds having a heterocyclic ring containing the nitrogen atom of a secondary or tertiary amine or a bicycloheterocyclic ring system containing the nitrogen atom of a secondary or tertiary amine.
