Abstract
A recording apparatus includes an image forming mechanism for forming an image on a sheet-shaped recording medium, a discriminating circuit for discriminating an image related to predetermined information among images to be formed on sheet-shaped recording mediums by the image forming mechanism to produce a discrimination signal, and an inverting mechanism for selectively inverting front and back sides of each of sheet-shaped recording mediums on which images are formed by the image forming mechanism on the basis of the discrimination signal produced by the discrimination circuit.
