Abstract

A skin care or skin-protecting composition comprising a highly viscous polydimethylsiloxane which optionally contains OH, vinyl, phenyl or alkyl groups with 2 to 6 C atoms in the terminal and/or middle positions, the polydimethylsiloxane having a viscosity of 10.sup.6 to 5.times.10.sup.7 mPa.s, and a highly volatile, linear or cyclic siloxane.
