Abstract

A magazine includes a case for accommodating a strip of recording medium as wound around a tubular core, a support shaft provided in the case and supporting the inner periphery of the core for rendering the medium rotatable, and reverse rotation preventing members permitting forward rotation of the core when the recording medium is paid off from the case and preventing the core from rotating in a winding direction opposite to the forward rotation. Even when the recording medium is subjected at its leading end to an external pushing-in force or tends to be rotated by shaking or vibration during handling, the reverse rotation preventing members restrain the medium from rotating in the opposite direction to prevent the leading end from slipping into the case.
