Abstract
A process for the preparation of tertiary alkylamines having a total of up to 9 carbon atoms by reacting a dialkylamine with a C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -alcohol in the presence of a hydrogenation/dehydrogenation catalyst which contains essentially only copper as the hydrogenating/dehydrogenating catalytic metal is proposed, wherein the reactants
