Abstract
A pressure-sensitive recording medium producing a colored image utilizing the reaction between a substantially colorless electron donating dye precursor and an electron accepting developer is disclosed. This recording sheet is characterized in that the electron accepting developer layer contains an aromatic carboxylic acid metal salt and the electron donating dye precursor layer contains (a) an indolylazaphthalide compound and (b) Crystal Violet lactone.
