A method of improving the quality of the bones and/or increasing the bone strength of aminals, including humans, cattle, sheet, goats, swine and poultry without deleterious effects on the animals or products of the animals by adding a small effective amount of zeolite to the feed of the animals or directly to the animals in the form of a capsule, tablet or the like.
