Abstract

The present invention is directed to a sealed beam lamp comprising a lens and a reflector, both of which have been coated with a multiple series of thin, very high temperature resistant alternating dichroic coatings, most preferably TiO.sub.2 and SiO.sub.2. The lamps of the present invention produce brilliantly colored light and may be constructed as compact, high wattage, glass or epoxy sealed fixtures, with numerous possible focussing constuctions.
