Abstract
The present invention relates to an electrochemical process for deoxygenating deionized water utilizing a membrane electrolyzer and optionally a catalytic reactor, characterized in that operation is carried out at ambient temperature avoiding the need for the addition of substances, dangerous for the health of the operators, able to pollute the enviornment or cause undesired increase of the concentration of dissolved salts.
