Abstract

A transfer sheet for heat sensitive transfer recording is disclosed, comprising a base film having provided thereon a coloring layer containing a dye represented by formula ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, or an allyl group; R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, or an allyl group; X and Y each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkoxy group, an alkyl group, or a halogen atom; and n represents 1 or 2. The transfer sheet provides a transferred image excellent in uniformity, color density, color reproduction, and preservability.
